I'm so excited to finally to be adding some boutique items available for use during photo sessions.

Tutus, headbands, chic shabby flower clips, mini top-hats...SO much fun.

My dear friend Katie is so talented, she was able to create my tutus for use from newborn to teens!

Available in Purple, Green, Orange & Pink! More to come soon, I'm sure! :)

My little Alexandra wasn't THRILLED to model for me right after her nap, but I'm sure YOUR little girl(s) will light up when they get to wear them during their photo shoot!

Giving back....

The month of October is SIDS Awareness Month. In honor of families, personally known and otherwise, I am PLEASED to announce that myself and my fellow photographer, Jenny B Photography are donating 50% of all of my sessions for the month of October to a wonderful nonprofit organization, called First Candle. 

"First Candle is a national nonprofit health organization uniting parents, caregivers and researchers nationwide with government, business and community service groups to advance infant health and survival. With help from a national network of partner organizations, we are working to increase public participation and support in the fight against Stillbirth, Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and other causes of Sudden Unexpected Infant Death (SUID)."

Weekends go too FAST!

And not only in a personal manner of speaking! My weekend availability will be going by fast; Fall is by far the busiest season for this photographer (and how lucky as it is my absolute favorite season of all!).  Between September and early November I'll be hosting mini-sessions, Holiday Family Sessions, Maternity Sessions and not to forget my Back to School Special.

Hours in the fall vary greatly as the days become shorter and the weather less predictable. But the one thing that won't change is how quickly my weekends become full!!

Revisiting the past

Every once in a while I enjoy going back through some of my sessions and trying new editing techniques.  In today's case I revisited a couple of my gorgeous teen models, Heather & Megan, and want to share a retro editing style I'm liking! I'd love to hear your thoughts on them too!

Beat the Back-to-School blues!

With a phenomenal special offer!! I, as a parent first, despise the arm twisting purchase of the ghastly school photos, that never make it much further than the "junk drawer", and certainly aren't on MY walls!!
Finally I wisened up and quit purchasing those paper wastes, and started taking my children's yearly school photos myself. They still get to pass the wallets out to their friends, and they're actually CUTE ;)

This year I've decided to see if any other parents felt the same way I did, and so far the response is great! I'm not just a big, cheap jerk after all! No, honestly, a good portrait is obviously an important thing to me, and if parents are going to spend their hard earned money on them, well, shouldn't they be proud of what they're getting?

Here's the deal: I'm offering a $20 custom 15 minute portrait shoot, (including a standard "shoulders & up" pose). If you can bring in a copy of your school's portrait package options, I'll MATCH the package you would have purchased through the school! So, not only saves you photo you didn't really want, but helps a little on the wallet too, because those packages are EXPENSIVE!!!

*This offer is $20 per child photographed, NOT per family. I do have to cover my lab minimum requirements, and {as much as I love my clients} anything less than that I'd be paying out of my own pocket!*
